he Edo State government on Thursday extended the dusk-to-dawn curfew it imposed on the state for two weeks.

Governor Godwin Obaseki said this during a live broadcast on Thursday, April 30.

The governor said that due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state, the government had decided to extend the curfew it imposed in the state to two weeks.

“Following a review of the recent developments in the fight against the spread of COVID__19 , I have extended the dusk-to-dawn curfew in Edo State for the next 14 days, but with some alterations to the timing.

“The curfew would now be from 8pm to 6am daily,” he wrote.
